Why Tanooma Dollars?
Tanooma Dollars perform multiple functions in this virtual economy. But the overall reason we ‘invented’ the Tanooma Dollars was to provide a representation for values which may have been hard to justify in ‘real’ money the day we start this community. For instance to get paid for answering questions is rather though right now, yet there is a REAL value otherwise nobody would bother even asking the questions. Tanooma Dollars represent such a value even so it is not paid in real currency. At some point in time, there may be an exchange rate and people may pay for expertise provided by others.
In the business to business relationship between Tanooma and it’s sponsors we will use the Tanooma Dollar as currency and credits to pay for advertising for instance and get familiar with the community and also experience with values the advertising provides.
